skidoo freeride 800 etec 2012 does not rev above 5000 rpm

hi, I have a problem with my skidoo freeride 800 etech 2012, it runs just like it should below 5000-6000 rpm, but above that it just chops and sputters, it doesn't want to rev above 5000-6000 rpm, I've tried changing the spark plugs, checking the fuel filter and loosening the throttle cable, but nothing has helped... so what could be the problem?

My first guess is a faulty TPS sensor but there could be many other faults. Measuring the fuel pressure when it starts to go crazy is a good idea. Are you getting any fault codes?
